In conjunction with Singapore’s bicentennial, we empowered Singaporeans to define the sound of Singapore, using a specially created Spin Player.
Across the island and the digital sphere, Singaporeans mixed sounds from iconic historical eras with modern music genres, submitting the mashups they truly resonated with.
Results: The top mashups were written into 10 original songs that made music history with over 200,000 Spotify streams in just 2 days. These chart-topping hits have since been performed live at prominent events such as NDP 2020.
